Amber, I do understand you, and would like to say the same regarding many breeds, especially large dogs... However, cannot agree with you regarding yorkies. yorkie is very popular breed, and it is hard to find them in a shelter....Not everyone wants an older dog....In the same time, personally, I am VERY against back yard breeding. Many yorkies shouldn't be breeding! I would prefer to say, most of them_)))) Sometimes, when I see some pics of yorkies for stud, who are way too far from a good quality yorkies. They are fine like a pet only. People shouldn't breed their pet only because it is cute or has a great personality. This is NOT a reason to breed a dog. If people don't try to improve standard - This is just BYB, nothing else. |
