It is a site that you can post your dog's bio on. Add pictures and keep a diary. I made Mrs. Beasley one before Rhonda told me about YT. I like YT better. We are able to develop friendships here.

When I visited it didn't seem that busy to me but it has been a long time since I looked it over. Do they have posts like on YT or anything? As I recall it was stories and pictures of lots of dogs but can't recall it being too interactive or anything. No almost real-time like YT has. But maybe I'm getting it mixed up with another site or it's just been so long I don't recall. Is it a "happening" site?

Maybe that's part of the reason I stopped posting on there lol

Yeah, it seemed kind of "dead" compared to YT as I think back. I didn't join when I visited it or any of the sites I visited as they all seemed empty, as if no one was home - but the day I found YorkieTalk, I joined immediately. It's like one big chat room and almost always active. So satisfying to find a group of people passionate and interested in their dogs and happy to share. And somebody is almost always on here if not a lot of people posting and answering away!

I agree! I don't think dogster is very interactive but it may different now. I used it to post pics and did a couple journal entries about our life with Georgie. Like I said its been awhile since I updated.

That was my impression. Seems like the posts and dates were old and nothing was very current or happening. Waaaay different on YorkieTalk! Us YT'ers are gabbing all the time back and forth!!!

I agree it is not interactive. Just pictures and stories. I do like looking a the cute yorkies.

We've got cute Yorkie pix here, too, and it's a more fun site to me. But I did enjoy looking at the pix on Dogster, too. Always love dog pictures!
