| When I got my two...the breeder said that Muffin shouldn't get over 4lbs and Boomer shouldn't get over 6lbs. Now Muffin is 5.5 and Boomer is 7.5. I'm glad they're a little bigger because I would worry about them getting hurt.

| Chase just turned a year old last month, and he is about 15.5 lbs. I'm not sure if he's done growing, but we are fine with him being so big. It's actually a joke between myself and my boyfriend. When I first told him I wanted a yorkie, he asked how big they are. I told him I wanted one around 6lbs, and he said he wanted one 15lbs. I told him they didn't get that big |

| I bought my Alec at the age of 6 months old. He was 4.2 pounds. Owner said he will not grow bigger anymore. His Dad if 3.5 pounds and Mother is 5 pounds. Now Alec is 8 months old and his weight is 7.2 pounds. So, do not believe what owner says to you, and average weight charts are nor very accurate. I wanted Alec be between 5.5 and 6 pounds. But, now I don't know for how long he will be growing bigger. When are they really stop growing? |

| I can't believe the breeder let such small dogs breed in the first place. Everyone know they should be at least 5 lbs to have safe births. Shocking!!

| Wish you could vote more then once, I voted based on Benji's weight since he was my first Yorkie, he was 2.9 lbs. Lily is 5.9 lbs, so about twice Benji's size.

| YT 2000 Club Member | Teeka is 5 months and weights 3lbs exactly. Her growth has slowed way down in the last 2-3 weeks. Her estimated weight by the breeder was 3lbs. The vet estimated her to be right at 4lbs. I am betting the vet is closer! I am very curious at what her full grown weight will be. Either way, she is a little fire cracker and I love her to death!
