No...I did use a similar feature on another site only to continually be haunted by the offenders posts which would show up when someone else would quote the offenders post...so much for that brilliant idea.

I much prefer to use the "report" button when it's called for and ultimately help the offender find their way to the door...and thanks to our hard working Mods, many have gone bye-bye!

ps. My fav Mod...is Wylie's Mom!

I definitely do the personal ignore... been really tempted to put someone on ignore but they were banned before I had to

No. I've been fortunate to speak with people who are very nice. I actually stay in my own little bubble most of the time. I guess that's why I haven't run into anyone I would want to ignore.

I do not put members on ignore nor have I ever felt the need to unfriend someone because they may disagree with me on issues. I'd like to think that even if I disagree with someone that I am adult enough to read others opinions on a subject that is controversial. I have learned over time not to jump in and respond to some members opinions I disagree with or defend a member without knowing the whole story. Live & learn

Nope, never put anyone on "ignore" before. So far, nothing anyone has ever had to say upset me to the point that I have felt the need to. I do choose to "ignore" some people from time to time though.
I was "unfriended" by someone once, which was really kind of ironic considering that that person used to blow up my profile page with rambling randomness.

No - never have and don't really plan on it. There's only been a few people on here that have irritated me that much and I just decided not to get involved in that discussion or walk away from the computer until I have let all the steam out of my head! lol! There are always going to be people I don't agree with, people I don't care to be around or people who just make me mad - but that's life and it's everywhere - not just here.
