| I paid $2000 for Laila, and I thought I got a good deal! Apparantly not on the price, but my pup is the BEST deal and/or purchase I have ever made. I just graduated from college and practically used my entire first paycheck to buy my little Laila. She is AKC, CKC and pure-breed. She was kept for show, but Laila did not grow large enough to breed so the breeder decided to sell her. Lucky for me!!!! I also live in Virginia, so Yorkie's are harder to find. It took me over a month to find a female Yorkie around the DC area.

| This is an interesting thread. Its really not about the price you pay, but how satisified you are. |

| Jasmine was €300 so about $350. She is pure breed and registered with the Irish Kennel Club. What really annoys me ithough is that over here (Ireland) the price of any pure breed will shoot up coming up to Christmas with people paying from €500 upwards for puppies that will prbably get no attention after new year. My cousin is a vet so Janurary in our house normally means half a dozen homeless puppies that need caring for and new homes. |

| Almost 9 years ago, I paid $500 for Gabby.....would have paid more for her Gage is a rescue from someone who had gotten him as a gift and then couldn't (or wouldn't) take care of him (this person has no business owning any type of pet!!!...IMO)....so Gage came to us free of charge, our only cost was, and is, lots and lots of love![]() |

| All of my furbabies came through rescue and I donated $350 for their adoption! I don't even want to know what my medical costs, teeth cleaning and bad breeding have cost me.

| I paid 1400 for my lil girl, and then another 300 for the ticket to fly out to get her.. But she will be worth every penny! I actually feel like I got a "deal" as most are selling for 2500 to 3500 here in Northern California... I just cant! I do however want to get into showing, so I may be paying the big bucks and eating my words here real soon! : )
