| Mine goes in spurts. She'll have 2 or 3 nights of sleeping and then not for another 2 weeks. I'm so sleep deprived. It's the only "downside" I can find in owning a small dog. However, she has slept throught he night since Thursday. WOO HOOOOO!!! Let's hope we're finally over the hump!

| Sounds like a habit more than a need. I would let them bark it out for a few nights and I bet they eventually give up and cut out the middle of the night potty break. Zeus used to get up and I would take him out and he wanted to play outside. I started putting his leash on him and allow him to potty if he needed to and back in we went. After two nights he gave up and sleeps through the night now. He will be 7 months tomorrow. Good Luck! |

| My Layla has always slept through the night but in the event she needed to go out....she can let herself out with her automatic doggie door. Best money I have ever spent. Our backyard is fenced so no worries of her getting somewhere she does not need to be and no worries of other animals getting in as the door only opens when she comes close due to the collar she wears. I sure hope you will get to sleep through the night soon. http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/hight...front-side.jpg |

| He just turned a year old in May. He's great with sleeping but he makes up for it by being a little terror the rest of the day. |

| Abigail & Pom Pom Sleep w/me and Artie sleeps in his own Bed @ my Feet, so he can tell if and when I get up out of Bed. They are 5,4, and 3 yrs. old. Since they are older I guess I have "Trained" them to sleep thru the Night, but occasionally Abigail will whimper in my Ear to wake me up between 2 am. and 4 am. but that is only if we went to sleep early and I did NOT take them out for their last "Pee time".

| All 5 at our house sleep through the night. weekdays 9 pm to 6 am weekends 10 pm to what ever time we wake up usually between 8:30 and 9:00 am ![]() We love to sleep in on weekends - "Thank God" so do our furbabies LOL My 16 year old has 2 yorkies and they don't get up until she does. Sometimes she sleeps in on weekends until 12 I usually will go and take them out because I think that's way too long for them to hold it. Right after I take them out they run back into her room to keep sleeping.
