We feed our babies Dic Van Patten's Natural Balance LID [ limited ingredient diet ] We started Beatrice on this because of her sensitive digestive system,and to make things easier we feed it to both of our babies.We have 2 flavours,the duck and potato and the fish and sweet potato. |
Chloe eats Science Diet Tiny Bites. She's a very picky eater, but seems to like SD so far. |
I fed Bella Science diet since she was 3 months the I found out from this website that it wasnt a good food(Really?). Now I 've changed to Wellness small breed for a month. |

I feed all mine, plus wean my litters on Life's Abundance Premium Health Food Kibble. I also feed them the canned as well. They LOVE it and LOVE the kibble. They eat so so good. |
Molly started out on Iams, then Blue, and now Evo. Evo is the best for her. She had diarrhea/very soft stools from the other brands. She has a LOT of energy now as well (which can be good and bad! haha). :D |
Someone posted a thread in Health & Wellness a while back and she was at her wits' end trying to find a food her girl would eat. Her pup would actually starve rather than eat the food she'd been offered. The break through brand for her was Halo. Thor is so picky that I've taken to free feeding him. However, I know if I leave Halo kibble out that he'll eat maybe 1/8 of a cup per day, which is a lot for him. He tries to get as many calories as he can from treats, so I mostly give him Solid Gold jerkey treats, which I think are pretty healthy. Getting Thor to eat 1/8 of a cup of kibble per day is a major victory for me, so we will be sticking with Halo. |
The best food for my pet After all the problems with pet foods and all the deaths of our special friends I decided to change my pet's food. I did my research and started my 3 yorkies on Merrick. It was too rich for my babies. I then switched to Orijen and I am very happy with the outcome. I have seen changes in their coats and they hve more muscle mass. Plus, they love the food! |
question ? I feed my terry royal canine, some people tell me das good food but my. Uncle has yorkies to but they look chunky n terry eats like a pig n still skinny is da bad or good ? He eat chicken every now n then speccially made for him. |
What I feed my dogs I used to feed my 3 yorkies Royal Canin. My little female would vomit several times a week. Since I switched to Orijen she never vomits! Plus, her coat is shiny. I originally went to Royal Canin to improve their teeth. Honestly, their was no improvement. |

Eagle Pack I just started feeding the Eagle Pack Small and Mini breed adult formula for dry and Innova Flex in wet and Braxton loves both. He's also a very picky eater. |
I use Eukanuba Small Breed, Finnigan's breeder had started him on it, we tried switching to Wellness and he got very sick. He ended up having to get a prescription food for awhile because of it, so back on Eukanuba we went. I've had no problems since. It just so happened that Gwenni's breeder also used Eukanuba mixed with another brand (can't remember the name) but she was just leaving the mix in her bowl and eating Finni's Eukanuba, so now she's also only eating Eukanuba. |
Natural Balance kibble with a little Merrick canned. Treats are NB bisquits and the small Merrick rolls/logs. Zeke likes fruits and veggies. Zack will have no part of them. |
Changing Food Whenever I change my yorkies food, I will do it over a months time. I read alot about food for my yorkies. The first thing I checked was to make sure it was not made in China, second make sure no grain. All the foods in the pet store chains were recalled when wheat gluten, rice protein concentrate, and Melamine( a chemical used in fertilizers and plastics) caused kidney failure. Hope this helps! |
I feed both my dogs Chicken Soup for the Pet Loves Soul and they really seem to like it. Where I live, this is about the only high-quality dog food I can get. |
I've tried a few different foods for my girls. I like to give them Merricks but they have been making a huge mess with it picking out all the fruits/veggies and weren't eating as much when they first tried Science Diet. They are back on Science Diet and they love it and are healthy girls. Their coat is even nicer (believe it or not) when eating SD then Merricks. |

Vinnie has done extremely well on Nature's Variety raw medallions. I've been feeding him these for about 4 years now and he went from finicky and underweight to hearty and in great shape! I supplement these with an organic dry food (zero grains, high protein, and all natural ingredients) that he seems to like as well as home-cooked foods (boiled chicken, bison, steamed veggies, etc). He really likes steamed carrots and pumpkin added to his food. I try to rotate things up to keep him interested in his food. |
