Hyper or mellow (a poll)

Chloe is still in the hyper puppy stage. She's not uncontrollable by any means though. When we go see gandma or company comes over, she is super excited, but when it's just us she is pretty calm. **Until training time comes around--she gets so excited about her treats!

Mine are even tempered almost all the time. Mind you they go from 0-60 from a dead sleep if they hear a strange sound. LOL

The only time they get wound up is when they think they're going for a ride in the truck or when I first walk in the house after leaving them alone (God forbid) for more than 20-30 minutes. hahaha

I have a 2 1/2 yr and a 1 1/2 year old, both males. They sound like a mixture most of your Yorkies! They're super hyper when they want to be and sometimes just lazy! They LOVE to mess with eachother, yet they stand up for eachother! Sometimes they're really needy, and like to whine... They and know how to get your attention when they want it
Very playfull and affectionate, and super spoiled by everyone we know! they're GREAT pupsters and just want to have fun! Thats why I love them!!

Kenji was extremely hyper and had major seperation anxiety to add to it. He never sat still and had energy plus right up until he passed at 18yrs old.

I have a "lazy-sloth" type, Miss Abby who most of the day can be found wound up in like a pill bug in her blankie and an "even-tempered" type, Miss Bella who's up for almost anything & anytime but, for the most part just lounges most of the day.

My girlies are not yappers either, UNLESS of course...a lizard can be seen sunbathing itself on the side of our house...then, ya better cover your ears!

I am also fostering a lil' boy-baby, Rocky and he is maybe one notch up from Bella. He definitely demands to be heard especially around mealtimes...just in case he thinks I've forgotten to get his meal going fast enough!

I wonder for the original poster who mentioned she knows of others who've even considered giving up their Hyper-Yorkies...if they might be away most of the day working and when they get home...guess what? Baby wants it's Mommy or Daddy and all of their attention...just saying!

I answered Very Even Tempered for both my little guys. Rudy is going on seven months old, so he still has his moments, but is much better since he was neutered. Toby has always been a sweet even tempered dog. Only time we have hyper city here is after their baths.

Barney is an old man in a young body....Has one speed and that is slow....Although he will run the fence line if the neighbors dog is out....

Belle- I would consider active.....

Bevo is hyper- 6 month puppy hyper.....wears me out....Hopeing he slows down a bit...lol

My Harry is very even tempered....to the point, he doesn't stick up for himself, its my MORKIE that is crazy......I thought it would be just the opposite.....don't get me wrong, I think Trevor just likes being the star of the show and class clown
