Mine poops twice daily and I free feed. If she finishes what's inside her food tray, I refill it with more. I encourage eating. She's long, tall, and thin. Just like a supermodel.

She used to poop and pass gas more frequently when she was on Innova EVO.

Toby poos maybe five or six times a day......I can also take him out ten million times a day and he pees. Meanwhile Zoey will pee but only poo twice a day...three max.

All my dogs poop twice a day. Once after their morning meal and once after their evening meal. However, Lilo has been known to go three or four times a day. She's a weird one, though.

EDITED TO ADD: I used to free feed. But, I found it was wasting the food as none of my dogs were eating. And, the dry food I feed (I rotate between brands like Innova and Wellness) isn't cheap. So, I was getting frustrated and now I use the "15 minute meal". If they're not done eating in 15 minutes, I take the bowl away and give it to them later. When I started homecooking, I became even more strict about this so the meat wouldn't get nasty. Then again, all my dogs are MORE than eager to eat the homecooked over the kibble. xD

Lacy usually poops once a day but will often go once every two days. Rylie likes to poop twice a day. Both eat Nature's Variety Raw

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
