| Hi, My son in law is currently in Iraq. I live in Oregon and my daughter came home to stay with me when he left. (Feb.14th 2005) She recently went back to N.Carolina to get a house set up cuz he is supposed to be home real soon. It's been hard on everyone. She's having a baby girl (named after me) in early October. I hate that I am here and she's there. She's over 3000 miles away. I sure hope things go good for all these men & women who have served our country for us. Thank You so much!

| Do you realize that while she was pregnant & he was serving out country she was not able to get an ultrasound of her daughter to send him because her insurance - Tri Care - would not cover it. She was able to get one if she paid $275.00 on her own.(which she did.) We drove 3 hours one way to do it also. BUT, Had she been on Welfare she would have received them on a regular basis. I was furious. To see couples I know were on welfare walking out with their pictures of their child was wrong.

| My sister-in-law is in Iraq for a year. I agree that the sonogram should have been covered by her insurance! Was that at a military facility or another?

| They lived in N.Carolina til he was called out February 14th. Shen then moved to Oregon. I think regardless where she lived they (Tri Care) should have paid for a ultrasound. He wanted to at least see pictures of his daughter since he couldn't be there - so I drove her to Portland - she paid $275.00 for the ultrasound and sent him pictures. Just makes me wonder about this country of ours. I get real upset over this one. To answer your question, No, it wasn't on base.
