would you get cosmetic surgery? i was just wondering what people thought about this cause i have had cosmetic surgery and i was very pleased with my results. i just hope noone thinks any differnet of me having said that. |
I have done it and would do it again. But one thing I learned was research, research, research and get the best doctor you can afford. Sometimes saving a little and going with a cheaper surgeon can cost a lot more in the end if you need a re-do.... Another thing is find a doctor that listens to what you want and not does what he thinks is best for you (its your body). This would be a doctor who is truthful about whether your expections are achievable. I hear of many stories were people were not happy because the doctor did not listen or gave them false hope about the results they could expect. |
hell ya! i want lipo sooo bad of my innner and outter thighs! i want to go see dr. robert rey. he has such good results  |
Yup! I had breast augmentation surgery done in April of 2003. It's been over 2 years and I'm super pleased with my results. Haven't regretted the decision at all. I definitely recommend it to anyone who has the means and will  |
whhheeeewww. im so glad im not the only one on this site that has had cosmetic surgery. :teethysmi if i had the money i would do it again. it's so addictive. i had a tummy tuck and im so happy with the results. |
i want a breast reduction and a lift........... :( It was horrible in highschool when we had to RUN, (yes run) the "hell run", even the female teachers made us do this (let me tell you they were all FLAT) meanwhile me, with my D cups hitting me in teh fricken face..........lol The only teacher who was sympathetic and let us walk was a GUY! |
i hope that i don't sound sick, but if you guys have pictures of yourselves i'd like to see the results  i don't mean nude pics, just regular pics of you before and after your surgery :D |
In 5-10 years I am sure I will benefit from having eyelid surgery, they have a tendency to swell up and that makes my eyes water - very annoying. I want to wait as long as I can because then I won't have to have it done again. I could also see myself having a breastlift in 10 years - my breasts have always been beautifully perky and it is hard to get used to them hanging a bit. We used to do the "penciltest" when I was in my twenties - if you can have a pencil under a breast you have "hangers" - I never had hangers until 3 years ago, they started descending and that is also annoying - on hot summerdays I have to wear a bra because I will sweat under my breasts and that will show on t-shirts etc. And bras suck - I never used them, never needed to and it's a punishment to wear one... I'll never have lipo - I am build nicely and can train any bulgy part away :) But I have friends who benefit from it because they have big thighs or huge asses - I am glad they can have it done :) |
But I have friends who benefit from it because they have big thighs or huge asses - I am glad they can have it done :)[/QUOTE] lol i have big thighs and a huge ass. i wishi could get lipo on my thighs. if not for my thighs i would be a size 5 but im still happy with my size 8. i want lipo in a couple of places. arms thighs and i especially want my douple chin lipoed. I have and would/will do it again... Quote:
I think cosmetic surgery is a personal choice and one not to be ashamed of. It's like getting a new car or whatever, you wanted it, you researched what kind would best suit your needs and where you'd get it from! lol I am not ashamed, tho I dont go around and tell everyone what I had done, but if asked I tell them. I agree with another poster, definitely research your PS and make sure he/she is on the up and up. I definitely would never go a cheaper route, you get what you pay for sometimes! So if I have to spend more and wait longer so I can save up for it, then so be it! Better to wait then have a botched job and regret. DaniBelle |
I've had libo on my stomach, inner and outter thighs. It was tough in the beginning but i love the shape my body took. My stomach is always flat even when i eat alot. l0l |
I voted that I'm waiting for my scheduled date...I'm getting Lasik surgery on my eyes . |
If I had the extra money...Bring it on!! Extreme makeover... PICK ME!! :D |
Not me. Never in a million years would I do that. I'm not saying that I think of you girls any less who did do it but I personally think it's just wrong. Count me out! |
I had breast reconstruction w/implants in April of 2004. I found a lump in my left breast, the biopsy came back 'suspicious for cancer.' The surgeon took out the lump and a *huge* area of surrounding tissue. It was benign - thank goodness - but I had a huge crater in my left breast. My plastic surgeon worked with me to position the implant and other breast tissue to fill in the crater. I would prefer to have my old breasts back, but I'm thankful I'm cancer free. :) One of these days, I want to have a chemical peel and maybe an eyelid lift thingy. |
I had my nose done in highschool, 1997,. I had broken my nose badly when i was a child and it was crooked and causing problems with my breathing. I went to have it straightened and after he explained to me the procedure i asked him they could make it smaller too. He said no problem. I am so happy with it. I've gotten a lot of compliments a lot of guys in college told me I had the cutest little nose. A lot of people says it looks like sara michelle gellars (buffy). Before my wedding I looked into getting my breasts reduced and lifted. I wear a 32 D. But the insurance wouldn't cover it because i wasn't having enough taken out. Also they say it's a 50-50 chance whether or not you can breast feed and they might swell back up if you get pregnant. I don't plan on having kids right now, but I didn't want to take the chance. So I'm going to wait til later and then get it done. |
2 Attachment(s) well I am hoping to get mine done next summer, I am trying to loose so of my weight first. Not having much luck but I am going to get a whole makeover my body went to hell after I had my son 5 years ago, I was always really fit, I was a lifeguard for 6 years in my teens always active, but at 18 after I had my son my body got bad I nursed him for 1 year and lets just say that was the worst I have no feeling left in my boobs any more. I also need a tummy tuck and lipo in my butt and thighs so I just want a major makeover. Just looking for PS good to use either in Texas or Florida so if any one has any suggestion please Pm me the info. Lets just put it this way when I married my hubby I was about 105 and now Lets just say add about 85 to that and you got it. Dont help that I am short either. I just am still so young and I feel ugly and have real low self esteem. So it would be a big plus for me so PS here I come. Just a little nervious about the pain afterwards. But I dont think that anything can be more worse than 21hours in full labor without drugs so I think I can pretty much handle the pain...(1) Here is a pict of me when I as a newly wed age 17. (2) June on our trip to disney age 24 |
Thanks Thanks for posting your pictures! Awesome. I wish I could have a tummy tuck! Of course, I'm 50 and everything just went south! It seemed like one day I looked in the mirror and boom everything was hanging! |

seh: i had your exact problem except for the breast feeding i couldnt bring myself to do that but like i posted earlier i was a size 4 when i got married and little by little startde gaining weight until i was finally wearing a size 14 and had a sagging belly i would post my pre-op pics but i'm just too embarrassed! lets just say i looked 5 months preggers...... not something anyone wants to see!!! but i started eating from the new dieters cookbook and lost 20 pounds and then did the surgery. |
I want to have a breast augmentation done, but I want to wait and see if I have kids first. I'm giving myself till 26 to decide then I will get it done. I'm 23 and that means we have 3 years to decide.. (I heard that you can't breast feed afterwards so that is what I'm waiting for) |

That is really good to know, because I'm really wanting this done.. I'm doing research now to find a good doctor. I also need to start saving some money so I want have to take out a loan for it. I'm also scared to go too big because I'm real petite (5'1) 89-95lbs right now I'm barley a 32A but I think I would be good with a 34b or a little bigger. as a gift my mom bought me a bra and the name of it was Nearly A she said it should fit perfectly.. lol |
