Missy's Mommy Thank you for the complement I really wish I felt pretty. Since I had my son 5 years ago I have been back and forth with the dr.s trying to find out why I cant loose my weight. I gained 85lbs with my pregnacy(and the damn dr. said oh thats normal I was just like what world are you living in.) At first they thought of Diabetes (cause my grandmother had it.) but that was not it then the dr. said it was my thyroid (Hypothyriodism) and put me on some meds ya it worked for a month lost 15lbs in a month I was so happy and then boom it all came back. So we are still trying to determine the reason I am having so much trouble with my weight. I mean it has all taken a toll on my marriage just cause I dont feel sexy and I dont want him to look at me or touch me but he has been really supportive with everything. He also promised me a new waredrobe after I loose weight and have my sugery done. So I am really trying hard to loose my weight and get ready for the PS. My mom said she is going to pay for it and take time off of work to stay with me and help with the little one and everything else. MY mom sure is the best. Babyparis what Dr. did you go to for your tummytuck? dose he have just as good results with the brest ? as the tummy you look great.. You go girl.... |
well i went with doctor layton here in houston, but i never spoke with him about doing my breast but wheni was in the lobby for my post op there was a female and a couple of girls in there talking and they all had their breast done by him. he is very nice and very easy to speak to. anyway im kinda going off the subject, well they were all very pleased with his work and were recomending me to do my breast also. i asked if he did a good job. this one female had her sister and her mother and of course herself have dr. layton do their breasts. i saw some pics of some work he did when i was looking at TT pics and it looks like he did really good. he had before and afters. i was plannig on going to him for my breast augmentation. anyway, as far as the weight taking its toll on your marriage, i know first hand thow you feel, my weight gain did the same to mine, before i gained weight we would do lots of things together... you know the kind where youre naked... lol but ever since the weight gain i didnt want to do anything i would get yelled at by my mother of all people, that i had to please him or else i was going to push him out of my life, until finally i talked to my husband and told him how i felt and he totally understood. even though i would always tell him i didnt want to do anything cause i was fat and was embarrassed he always told me that i wasnt and that he was happy with me no matter how i looked and that he married me cause of who i am not how i look. he's a big fat liar.... i can see in his eyes everyday that he was disapointed in me for not doing all the things we used to do. well when we talked he said if i lost 20 pounds he would let me have my surgery and buy me a whole new wardrobe, well he kept his word, i like shopping now. loland he likes shopping with me before he would get mad if i had to buy something to wear for special occasions cause he knew he would have to go and listen to me whine about how everything didnt fit right. but now he loves loves loves to go to victoria secrets and other stores to shop for me. every thing seems to fit just right now. i love it. i'm sure you will get what you want ans your husband will love it too. ohyeah moms are a big help also, my mom came and stayed with me for a month, thats how long it took before i could carry my son, and i didnt have to lift a finger. my mom likes to spoil her kids. she's poor and doesnt have alot to offer but she sure does like to spoil us with lots of love. but who wouldnt mind that. she took care of me and my husband, a week after my surgery he got a vasectomy. there was no way i was going ot pay 6,000 on a tummy tuck and get pregnant again!!! no way... i'm sure your mom will take good care of you. if you need dr. laytons number let me know i still all the info he sent me. i dont mind sending you the paper work so you can see how he does the procedure. |
I have been doing alot of research on having my boobs done and that dr laytons name was in one of the reccomendations that I had found. I read that he does wonderful work. Just thought that I would mention it considering I am in wisconsin and the doc is in Texas. |

I have actually considered a few different doctors in different states to do my chest. I just want the best doc out there to do them without making me go broke. SO if I have to travel to get them done I will. |
good for you. i think i paid a pretty good price considering he is a good doctor, and my husband even went as far as asking for military discount. lol they dont have it but he asked if he had bgone to iraq and of course my husband has been to iraq, kuwait, and afganistan, so he went ahead and gave us 10% discount of his fee. so instead of 6200 we only paid 5700. he couldnt discount the anesthesia and facility fees. |
Wow that was cool of the doc to do. I keep laughing though. If I go somewhere out of state to have my boobs done everyone is going to think I went on vacation. Then when I come home I can say LOOK AT THE SOUVENIER I GOT. LOL |
lol those are going to be some pretty expensive souveniers. :shocked7q |
Yeah I know. Im excited though. The doc that i am seriously considering is in Chicago which is only like and hour and a half from me. My chest is the only part of my body that I am self conscience about. I am a work out freak. I dont want to sound stuck up or anything because I am far from that but I do have a killer body, just need the chest to go with it. Know what I mean?? |
I wanted a breast reduction (i am not that big but i was always self concious) but the more I thought about it, the more I thought it would be so stupid.. I wound up losing some weight and lost some of my chest so now I am more comfortable.. Also, i was thinking, ALOT of people pay $$ to get what I have, i should keep it!! |
Hey Recon's mom you can have some of mine. And just from personal experience don't go too big. I know you ride horses and they can be very painful when you ride and the weight can be hard on your back. I have a 32D. And you have to get custom english coats made, because they don't make them for the large chested small waisted. |
Sarah (seh0422) It sounds like you have a wonderful supportive family. I wish you the best of luck with yoru weight loss. Have you looked into the weight loss surgery? I have 2 friends who've had it done and have amazing results. They are both a size 6 now and said they feel really sexy now that they've lost all the weight and had everything nipped and tucked afterwards. If I was overweight and all else failed I would definitly look into the weight loss surgerys. One of my friends has a weight loss surgery support forum. If you are interested in checking it out send me a PM and I will ask my friend for the link and send it to you. |
Missy's mom I tried to PM you but your box is full so I will just take and put it on here: :) I would love the info on the weight loss surgery site, is it the one where they have there stomach stapled? If not which one is it? My mom keeps telling me to do it but I am just afraid of the risk its a lot higher than Plastic surgery. Even though I do think my insurance may cover it with me being overweight. So yes please send me the info and I will look into it. Thanks again. :) But please Pm me back with the info. |
Babyparis I am very instrested in Dr.layton's info if you would Pm it to me where is he located & dose he have a website? I may see if I could go for a consult. To see what he thinks. If hes not to far. Quote:

I have thought about implants, but ddecided against it. I didn't really want them but my husband did. This sounds weird but after I had my kids my bra size was cut in half. (I always thought they grew.) I'm 5' and weigh between 95-105 pounds...depends on the time of year, so I don't think I need lipo. |
