I don't even know what to vote for. I used to give Layla a liquid.. that bothered her tummy... so we are using a Canadian brand- was formulated originally for horses but was reformulated for dogs- ANYWAYS>. it's a powder and i'm pretty sure IT bothers her tummy... so i stopped. I want SO bad to try Cosequin but i just can't keep spending money on supplements that make her sick.. i swear i could open a second-hand pharmacy. Also- I have no way of knowing if they work.. layla shows not external symptoms- but i can pop her knee if i move her knee- her vet said she is stage 2. This is a large source of stress and anxiety in my life... thanks for letting me vent

LOL, Yorkie livers and knees is a large source of anxiety for me also.

Can you get SynoviG3 over there?
While Cosequin has studies backing it and I think I will go with it, some surgeons prefer Synovi. They think it works better. Either one would be worth a try I think.

I know packages are stopped at the border and you have to pay a gazillion dollars to get them but what if someone mailed some in an envelope? Would that go right to you?

Some vet there has to carry it.
I am thinking about asking for samples from the vet before I buy it.

I have no idea if i can get Synovi We have one pet dog healthy food type store here and they do not carry that i know for sure- they have 3 types- and cosequin is not one either But i just hesitate to buy and then have it sit on the counter- dont' get me wrong... i only want the best but i'm dishing out a small fortune for things she later throws up!

Oh yes- if they were mailed in an envelope- they would come right here- regular mail does not get stopped.

How many days does it take her to "react" after starting a supplement?

usually 3-4... maybe a bit less.... if i give it to her at supper... usually two days later (in the morning.. ALWAYS) she pukes. I'm pretty sure that was the cause of her last puking episodes... but just to be safe she gets a snack at night right before bed.

I guess we have been on Glyco Flex for a couple of months, I don't know if there is an improvement, but I would like to think it will help and it doesn't seem to bother them. Knock on wood!
