We knew we wanted a yorkie a year ago, but were going to move. So we started our search and now I'm 3 weeks away from holding him in my hands. I found whom I belief is the breeder for me. She is always available to answer my question and send me picture updates on my baby

. It took us a long time to find a breeder that answered my questions they way I wanted them answered. I must have called over 50 breeders (at least thats what they say their were) before I found her.

This is very interesting. I've enjoyed reading a little bit of everyones journey. When we move out of this apartment, we will be getting a yorkie. I've contacted a few breeders in my area, and they've already responded back! I't just hard to plan ahead. I think we will be ready for one in the next year. One of the breeders told be she had a little girl ready to go home in a few weeks! It just about killed me! Anyways, keep the stories coming!

I voted for "other" also. I first fell in love with Yorkie when back in my freshman year in college! Then I told myself..when I am financially stable, I will get a Yorkie....it was last year I finally got Chloe (We just celebrated our one year anniversary together yestersday!!) And it was 6 years after I first fell in love with Yorkie breed!
