| I voted Girls. I have two boys, but want a girl really bad. I want to be able to dress up in the really cute girl clothes. But that won't be for a while.

| seems pretty even from the votes. I vote girl. They don't mark and don't hump (at least most of 'em,lol). IME, they are usually more cuddly too. |

| I voted for girls although I do like both as well. We used to have a boy (Bandit) several years ago, and although he was very lovable with all of our family he was quite territorial and not friendly with strangers. We loved him just the same though. He was neutered and never marked in the house as far as I can remember. We now have two girls Kali and Mica. Kali is 6 months and is so friendly with everyone she meets, she has an endearing personality and loves to cuddle and give kisses. Mica who is 10 months is adorable in every way. She is 3 1/2 pounds of pure energy and extremely lovable as well. She especially loves my son and when he comes to visit she never leaves his side. It is so cute to see. Cory |

As for yorkies...i just love yorkies! If I was looking for a pet I would just get the one that was available from the breeder I liked and had the personality I loved...whether male or female I would not care.

| BOYS!!! BOYS!!! BOYS!!! I love boys! They are so loyal, snuggly, cuddily, and their personalities are wonderful! It doesn't bother me in the slightest that they lift their leg to pee. Yes, he will do the humpdy hump now and then but I've known plenty of girl dogs that hump.....isn't that also a dominant thing? My vote is for Boys all the way!!! BTW, the votes are split 85 to 86.....what does that say about your initial research and does that support it? Just curious if that was ever stated after the initial thread began.

| I voted for [I]BOYS[I] because of course I have one! Taz has been with us for 2 months and is the bestest little man in the world. He loves us unconditionally, wants to go everywhere with us and is very smart. He learns very quickly, except for the barking at people and pets and now a moped, when we go for walks. He loves to snuggle and just wants to make us happy, which he does.

| My vote made the score totally even! I guess we just love yorkies on here! I voted boys because I have a boy and I totally love him He's laid back, friendly, obedient, sweet, funny, adorable...(can you tell I'm crazy about him?) I've never had marking issues or leg lifting issues. He did have about five humping incidents, but that was a while ago and before he was neutered He's my little guy and I wouldn't have him any other way. Of course I've never owned a girl |
