I used to take Rasta with me everywhere with no problems. Ppl would ooh and ahhh over him while I kept him in my purse carrier. Now I don't. Simply because I know people have allergies and I would hate for someone to have an allergic reaction to Rasta when I simply could have left him home or stayed in the car with him. Also, although I know my pets are as clean if not cleaner than most people I wouldn't take them to places that serve/sell food unless told differently by store manager's.

I do take my Yorkie with me sometimes, he is so upset without me that he gets physically ill. I have taken him in the grocery store, the manager said it was ok as long as I carry him and he doesn't touch the basket. I have most people just ohh and ahh over him, but some have been very upset. So, I leave him if it is cool, briefly, in my car or leave him home if I am going to take more than 15 minutes. He is so cute, someone could also break in to steal him, so I don't go to the store with him anymore.

I take my Izzy with me when I go to Petsmart or Petco, we live an hr from these stores so if I have to go anywhere else I take my purse carrier and she goes in it. I have taken her into Walmart and a few other stores. Not 1 person as said I need to leave, half the time they don't even know she is with me.
