How often do you bathe your Yorkie? I was just wondering how often everyone bathes their Yorkies. :D |
LOL Steph! Once a year? Every six months? GROSS! How come no option for more than once a week? :) Stewie is bathed once every 5-8 days. He stinks by then, too :) |
Pixie gets a bath whenever she starts to get stinky which is usually every two weeks.. sometimes it's more often if she's been outside. |

I try to give my 3 a bath every week during the summer months. The heat and humidity is so bad here in TX that by the end of the week they are beginning to smell. During the winter I only do it about once a month. |
When it was just Oreo And Ginger.. they'd get a bath once a week. Now that we have Cloey, It's harder to keep all three of them clean. As much as I'd like to bathe them once a week. I usually have to do twice a week just because it's super hot out here, they get very dirty easily (I hate when they step in their own poop :eek: ).. |

I wash Emma about once a week, sometimes it slips my mind and i'm a couple days late. Sometimes it's more than that because she has figured out how to jump in the shower with me... scared the living daylights out ot me the first time,after that i have to give her a bath otherwise her hair gets all funky. I think she's finally learning not to do that anymore. I've been bugging my husband to fix that stupid door ... he never listens. |
Once a week,on a Tuesday.It used to be Saturday but I forgot,so it landed on a Tuesday.I bathe them in my laundry sink,it's deep and big so they can't climb out.We used to bathe them in the kitchen sink when they were still small,then we relocated them to the bath tub and they splashed water everywhere.So the laundry sink works the best. Where do you guys bathe them? |

Jerry you are a hoot!! Mine get a bath once a week, I try not to brush them too much when they are dry so by the end of the week it is time to look pretty again. Whe I went longer than that I had alot of breakage it seemed. we live on a farm and spend alot of time outside so it works best for me. |

I bathe Mya about twice a week but I also wipe her with a plain damp wash cloth every evening because she has not mastered cleaning herself yet. I sometimes use baby wipes on her paws between baths if it is muddy outside. |
Well I bathe Jeremiah about twice a week...or sometimes 3 times a week. I don't want to do it but I have to.He smells real easily so everyone tells me to bathe. Jeremiah has silky hair so I am worried that all this bathing will be too much on his hair and his skin...I am such a bad mommy. |

i bath rosie every saturday in the kitchen sink, yes she trys to get out but i always manage to do it by myself, i use baby powder shampoo for doggies. the conditioner you all use is it especially for doggies or can i use our conditioner for dry skin? wendy and rosie :rose: |

I bathe about 1 a week sometimes 2 weeks Jewels does not like to be dirty so she stays cleaner longer, Jackson our male about 2 weeks but Josey likes to roll in anything and everything if it is stinky, cow manure, bird poop, walnuts,dirt about anything she can find last week she had to be cleaned almost every other day, gets frustrating we take her out stand their and she goes potty and then quickly finds something to roll in. Jewels and Josey are bathed in the sink and Jackson in the tub he likes to shake and gets water all over the counter. |
Buddy get's bathed about once a week in the... well, BATH!!! He doesn't mind splashing around happilly in the water, but the second you start with the shower... then we have the mad doggy panic! He hates it, but it has to be done... the state he gets in! He come in from his garden 'adventure' ith thing's stuck to him! Leaves, mud, grass, flowers... |
