How much do you spend on your Yorkies?

We've had Ariel for about 2 months now, and have already spent at least $200 on her alone, not including vet bills. I got a bit crazy and bought tons of toys, clothes, treats, and of course, her food. My boyfriend is a bit PO'ed, but he's dealing with it He loves the furbabies

My family has mentioned a couple times that they think our dogs have larger wardrobes than us They have lots of clothes, but I don't think their collection exceeds ours I do, however, find myself shopping more for them than me now though

It's a place where all I buy is toys and Eddie's food. And toothpaste. Jack gets his food at the vet's, and I buy clothes online. And other toys.

Although, I will admit, some of you have put up some impressive numbers!

I spend above $200 just on food alone. I feed mine canned and dry and that adds up. Plus I homecook some meals

Okay, so I was just telling myself to control myself few days ago (while I was shopping for Chloe AGAIN!) I said to myself...I need to control and was going to set a limit how much I could spend each month on her! LOL.....

So, what was more funny...my boss and I were discussing my pay the other day...she said to me..." Don't worry, Chloe will still able to get her bone." LOL

And one of my friend said to me..." I think that dog has more clothes than I do!"

Flea (Dakota) 6 months- $40
Toys 6 months- $100
Treats 6 months -$150
YT Extra 6 months (usually more)- $150
Vet (for both) 6 months-$400
Fabric 6 months - $150

I cannot even imagine how much I spend on Conner every month. Every time I go out, I get him something, plus I am always buying him stuff online. We just got a shipment in the mail for premium dog food, flossies, two bags of Wellness jerky treats ($8.99 a bag), and a toy. He is my hobby!!!

Food- $35 per 30 lb bag of Innova, that lasts about a month ($210 6 months); $15 per bag of Merrick, that last 3 weeks or so (approx $130 6 months)...so together that's $340 per 6 months
Petkin teeth cleaner- 1 bottle per month ($10), so $60
Missing Link- $12 for a bag, which lasts about 2 weeks, so $144
Canned food and/or gravy-about $30 a month, so $180
Grooming stuff- I would estimate about $200 or so to keep stocked every 6 months
Heartworm- $25 for 6 pills...right now with 4 dogs (1 more on the way) that's 4 packs of pills per 6 months...so $100 there
Toys 6 months- $100
Treats 6 months -$100
Clothes-$100-$200 a month...so $1000-$1200 per 6 months
Vet, shots, health needs, etc.- $300 or so every 6 months (varies)
Extra stuff like beds, blankies, carriers, etc.- about $50 a month, so $300

God and there's more I'm probably not even thinking about....I don't even WANT to total that...and I'm about to start breeding...

I need a 3rd job...

I think I need an intervention! I have been spending alot of money on Jake and Jackson. Honestly, I should be ashamed at how many dog toys they have! I find ways to justify why they "need" this or that. Like, I keep buying them clothes....yet, they don't even like clothes, nor do they keep them on! But, I think they need them just in case they get cold. I just ordered them each winter jackets, but they do need those to stay warm, right? I'm always buying them cute blankets....Jake is a blanket freak. I'm always buying them a new bed to try out.....why????...they sleep with ME! And, of course, they need harness vests so they can go for walks. And, of course, they need food, treats, PetzLife, Missing Link, etc. Yeah, I think I need help.

I cook for Ittybit so thats costly..then the clothes, toys, treats. Im easily over $200 Hell I just ordered her a $75 Coach collar lol.

Intervention hell I think I need a 2nd job LOL
