Love the Chipmunk story. They are so adorable and so glad you guys were the ones who found him and got him out of that scary place. ;)

Just thought I'd post a picture taken this past week-end 4/11/15 in Carmel, CA. on Clint Eastwoods ranch where we had brunch. We spend a few days with my son and his family and these are my two granddaughters. (by the way, those are "play" glasses on my granddaughter. Don't have a clue why she likes wearing them.:p And another of me showing her how to paint underglaze. She's amazing at how well she paints. At 8 years old, she chose a difficult piece to paint and did a fantastic job.

Well, I see you got one of the pictures attached, but I don't see the picture of granddaughter painting. Lol, she loves wearing glasses, that's so cute, but of you granddaughters are darling and I didn't know you could visit Clint's ranch, that sounds like fun.

I love to play with photo editing. Last summer when I went to North Dakota, I was fascinated with this abandoned grain elevator. The first is the original, then b&w, then sepia with some texture added.

And this was a photo I got last summer that I fell in love with the imperfections of the sunflower. I added a water color effect and it's now hanging on the wall in my daughter's bathroom. (The original and the edit)

Simply beautiful! I think you could sell these!

My DIL sent me this picture of my little granddaughter, it's definitely a cool picture! I'm so in love with this little girl and her Yorkie style hair!

LOVE this set, and the flower pics too! I really love the color and texture on the last building pic. Are you using actions? I love me some actions and have so many, it's ridiculous. But they're just so fun! If you use actions, where did you get them and do you have favorites?

I do not know what actions are? Please explain. I do a lot of digital scrapbooking and I often use that program to edit my pictures, and sometimes I use photoshop express on my ipad, or even photoscape. Nothing special. When I upgrade my computer, which I hope to be soon, I want to go with Photoshop but I'm scared of the learning curve. :p

A photoshop action is a collection of steps that you turn into one step. For example, let's say for many pictures you end up 1) slightly sharpening 2) slightly lightening 3) adding sepia tone and 4) whatever else.....you could create (or buy) an "action" by recording all those steps taken, into one single "action" or action button. Actions are SO fun to buy!

Here are some free ones that have some good action sets:

If you have photoshop, you def must try some of these! Plus, I have a whooooooole bunch I could also send you on a disc or something too! You'd have some fun w/ them.

So my dh and I set out for an early morning fishing trip. While we were on the water fog set in pretty heavy. As fast as it moved in, it began to lift, and as it lifted it formed a fog bow. I had never heard of this phenomenon much less capture it in a photo, and it was literally right beside us.
