| Soooo excited!!! We just got our Nikon D5000 in the mail last night and I already LOVE it! We had to charge the battery last night so I'll try to get some pictures today and post them. I definitely plan on spending alot more time in this section now. For anyone who has the D5000, any hints for new owners would be greatly appreciated. I think we're gonna have to go buy a copy of "Nikon D5000 for Dummies"....

| Congratulations!! You are gonna love it! I don't have the D5000 - I have the D90 - but I highly recommend you watch Nikon's Digitutor for your new camera. It's a great easy way to get introduced to all the features and buttons. Here's the link Digitutor D5000 | Nikon. Have fun! Bonny

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh awesome! Congrats! Are you comfy with ISO, aperture, shutter speeds and stuff like that? If you need a great book to reference for this, I'd recommend Exposure by Bryan Peterson. You can get it at Amazon, or even at your local library if you want to check it out first.
