Not sure if these qualifies
a great rock formation we found (solid and fluid look to it)
next one is identical positions around the mat
and sleeping close but not too close

That rock formation is awesome! You could frame that and everyone would think it art you paid big bucks for!

Thanks for the kind words. I'm no expert, but I learned a trick for snow pics that might help. Shoot on manual and take your light reading off the snow -- not your subject. But instead of lining up the meter in the middle for neutral lighting, make the exposure +2. That ensures that the snow will appear white with detail. If you try to shoot on manual, your light meter is going to try to turn the snow gray and your subject black. It's based on Ansel Adams' zone system, and I shoot all my snow pics that way.

Ah ha, Thank you for the tip. I really want to learn more about my manual settings. We don't have any more snow but I am still going to play with this one way or another....

AprilLove, I agree, the silhouette is beautiful and would be a gorgeous card. Suda, the last picture of the dog and cat made me giggle because the small dog makes the cat look so BIG!

Yorkies have the dang cutest little butts don't they?!!! I always like to give them little pats on their behinds, then they wiggle and prance afterwards, teehee
