| Well I got my new lens a couple of weeks ago & it was defective.  The lens won't autofocus. I thought at first I was doing something wrong, so I played around with all the settings and modes but I just couldn't get the thing to work, so I'm returning it to Amazon today for an exchange. I hope the next one works! I'm really excited about this lens....can't wait to finally use it.
