Zaycon Food Delivery!! I had posted on here some time ago, when I had seen a news blurb on our local TV 5pm news....it was about a new food service that delivered food wholesale, in bulk....you pay a little more than supermarkets pay for meat and veggies. My neighbor saw the TV episode on the news, they joined the Zaycon Food Delivery system and after several purchases, they had nothing but RAVE reviews about it. I then joined, because I saw the chicken breasts my neighbor was buying from Zaycon....they were HUGE and beautiful....I was thinking about not only food for my son and I but also chicken for the dogs when I needed to give chicken to them for any reason....I bought me a really neat vacuum sealer, and I have been thrilled with my decision to join the Zaycon Club! Over the years, the items available for delivery have really increased, and I have been more than thrilled with each item that is offered! I now get all my chicken, ground meat, steaks, pork, fish, hams, and now SHRIMP is available!! This is so exciting, as I personally am trying to stay on chicken and fish for my meat sources....my son does enjoy the beef and pork.....I am so excited to get started with SHRIMP!!! If you are interested, you can go to their site and learn all about them.....click on: zayconfresh.com/refer/zf78039 Look them over....just click on the above address and you will go to the site for review.....we have so many people getting involved in this here in Houston area, the deliveries sell out quickly anymore! You can stock your freezer with quality meats, at substantial savings....or you can go in with a group of people and divide the boxes of meat between yourselves.... I have been a member for over 6 years now and have never been disappointed in quality of meat! Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 02-02-2016 at 11:41 AM.

We have a couple "locations" in nearby cities, it doesn't give a specific address though. Are these the meat trucks, independant guys that work an area more so than a fixed location? My better half said the prices are pretty good for near here in Western WA.

I believe all the products are sent out from Washington State! The trucks and products are all employees and products from Zaycon. Quality control is excellent........I have no real grasp on how that works....I just know it is great and for as long as I have purchased their products, I have never been disappointed or unhappy with anything. Email them and tell them you may be interested, but you would like to know specific pick up locations.....I think you can even call them....

I have not seen any fruits or veggies delivered to Texas, at least not in my area....I was thinking it may be due to the long haul all the way from Washington State....have no idea, but meat and fish at practically wholesale prices is really what I am interested in....We had pork chops I got from them last week-end and they were outstanding....will have a pork loin this weekend.....those hams they have are not spiral sliced, which is FINE by me....it is a pure hunk of meat that was wonderful! We tried the breakfast sausage....both the links as well as the round patties...the patties are cooked so they just need heating....the links need to be cooked, and they were also great tasting with breakfast! We do not eat a lot of sausage links, trying to eat at least partially healthy....but when we have company that loves breakfast like you get at a Dennys Restaurant, they are great! I get the bacon....it is medium thickness....I usually buy thick sliced bacon on the rare occasion we have it for breakfast....I mostly use it to season beans, etc so the medium sliced works great.....I cut it into 1-2 inch pieces to put into beans, etc....works great. This has saved me a lot of money over the years, and now that they are selling fish and shrimp, I am a thrilled camper!

I had sticker shock when I first looked at their prices! Then I asked my resident expert about them. Robyn, my better half, said all but one of the prices was a tremendous savings. She shops the sales kinda like a hobby at Fred Meyer, Safeway and QFC..so her opinion about the prices is based on the "on sale" price at the big box stores here.. I think it was the ham price she wasn't impressed with but that last bone in ham we got from Safeway was a bit flavorless IMO. I'd like to try Zaycons boneless applewood smoked ham. Sounds delicious and it's boneless(a cut she doesn't usually buy but the one I prefer)! zayconfresh.com/refer/zf78039

I do not think you would regret any purchase made! We have their hams every holiday....I messed up and didnt order as soon as they were available, so they sold out before I could get mine for this last Thanksgiving....You can bet I will not hesitate for one day the NEXT time I am notified the hams are available in our area! When I first started with this service, they were new in the area....it was no prblem getting orders filled because not many people knew about them....but I had to drive across town to the delivery site!. Then they did coverage on the 5pm news here in Houston, and within a couple of months, they had added more pick up sites. By the next year, more pickup sites were necessary, and now they are all over the area! And they often sell out of favorites, like shrimp, fish, pork loin, the lean ground beef......the ham is usually gone within 48 hours.....

The ham and the steaks peaked my interest the most, since I catch a lot of fish.

The ham I can give a great rating, I have gotten the hams since they first added them to their availability list....I get my steaks from my brother, who shares his Christmas present he gets from his rancher boss every year....half a steer to stock his freezer. We have cut down on red meat consumption to no more than once a week....but I dont count ground meat in that total, just roasts and steaks..... Before I lost my significant other way back in 1991....cant believe he has been gone that long.....we always had fish/seafood because he also loved to fish......now I get it all from Zaycon, and it is really good...cant wait to see the shrimp! Hope I am not disappointed in the shrimp.....have not been disappointed with anything I have gotten from them, so hoping same for the shrimp review!
