| What Chain Restaurants live up to the hype? I like Pei Wei (cheap and pretty good food too) and Olga's Kitchen. Olga's is a Michigan chain. They serve gyros basically (among other things) on this delicious bread (sour pita) with a great sour tziki sauce!! Also love Sweet Tomatoes What chains do you like?

YT 2000 Club Member | We have Panaera Bread which is awesome. My favorite is the Cheddar Broccoli Soup! The bagels and breads are wonderful, too!

| I do like Panera, Subway, our Cincinnati Chili parlors, LaRosa's pizza, Frisch's for certain things, and even Texas Roadhouse sometimes.

| Cheddar's is great if you have one. Everything made from scratch.

YT 2000 Club Member | Texas Roadhouse is good, but I hate all the peanut shells on the floor! It just turns me off to see this. I guess when I go into a place, I expect to see clean floors!

| We live out in the country so there is not much around here. My dh and I both like Elijah's Cafe in Woodville, TX. It is about 20 miles from where we live. I would love to try some of the nicer chain restaurants in the Beaumont area (about 1 hour away) but my dh is not crazy about trying different eating places.

| Panera would actually be on the other thread for me. I went there once, never again. I ordered a black and blue STEAK sandwich. I was $9! What I got was a cold sandwich w a few thin slices of roast beef cold cuts, and a few bits of blue cheese. No thanks! I complained to my sis about it once. She hates Panera too. She went w her dh and between the two of them, ordering two combos came out to almost $30! That's insane. That's a nice sit down meal for that price!

| Love Texas Roadhouse - food is always consistent no matter which one you go to; Applebee's - good food and great price; Winking Lizard (small chain here in Ohio with great wings, burgers and literally 100's of different beers from around the world); and last but not least, Quaker Steak and Lube - again, great wings - they are known for their wings and steaks! Yummy!

| Anyone ever eat Schlotzsky's? They're mostly in Texas, but I see they have a few locations spread out over the country. Good sandwiches with the best bread I have ever had at a fast food place.

| I used to eat at them when I lived in the Houston area. They were very good sandwiches.

| I used to eat at schlotzskys. kind of like a bastardized version of a muffalatta. Their olive tapenade isn't even salty. And the bread rips up the roof of my mouth.
