I've seen many of my favorites mentioned already, but here are a few more: Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning (to spice up everything) Taragon Pesto Cinnamon added to everything chocolate buttermilk to marinate chicken in; super tender & flavorful |
Secret ingredient for any type of meat is cumin! I also picked up this spice blend in SF called Zhug. I mixed it with ground quinoa, parsley, lemon juice, garlic, it's great with everything! I mixed it in some Fage and made a great sauce for scrambled eggs. |

my favorite herb is basil second is rosemary. I love basil pesto. I add pine nuts to a lot of chicken, rice, couscous dishes. I also love the sweet red and yellow bell peppers. I also use a lot of garlic and onion |
