| Good Price on Saffron At "MySpiceSage.com" they have 1 gram of Saffron for $11.00 with free shipping at this time. In most grocery stores in my area it runs $19.00 for .03oz which is the same as 1 gram. I also ordered a spice I haven't been able to find. It's Grains of Paradise which is a peppery, citrusy spice. I have never tried it, but on Food Network there is a lentil soup recipe that calls for it and I'm so anxious to try it.

| Wow! That IS a good price! I've read that Saffron is extremely expensive. I am not sure what I'd use it for. I know I've eaten saffron in dishes before, but don't really know what it tastes like.

| Years ago I had a lemon saffron rice at a Mediterranean restaurant and it was really good. I found a recipe for it that I want to try. Sazon is not the same as saffron.
