I agree, in Michigan those things are at every other get together! I see them in Florida, but rarely.....

I would LOVE to see more Asian and Indian and Mexican (really all ethnicities) dishes represented in an at least slightly upscale fashion. Doesn't have to BE upscale ~ just has to pretend it is :winky:

(Like how a really flavorful lettuce cup is so easy to do yet so refreshing in both texture and tiredness ~ or lack there of ;) )

We have a lot of Jamaicans around this area-I'm not saying I wouldnt eat curried goat, but if someone brought it to a potluck I'd like to know what it was before it went in my mouth!

I had sloppy joes at the sloppy joes in key west when we spent a week end there for my dh's birthday. yummmmmmy .. but then again I haven't had sloppy joes in a year.

:D I have 'Miami Pink' and 'Hyacinth'....I love them, it doesn't matter how fat I get, they still fit.....:eek: :D x
