| Cooking with Alcohol Do you? What are your favorite recipes? Tequila marinated chicken? Penne ala Vodka? Wine in pasta sauce? Mescal in black beans? Beer bread? I'm interested in knowing how you cook with alcohol. (this isn't cooking, but I store my fresh ginger in vodka in the fridge and it lasts indefinitely )

| I pour a lot of spiced rum over fruitcake at holiday time! Also add rum to French Toast batter.

Reminds me of Eggnog!! I have friends that were shocked that making homemade eggnog was possible. It's possible and way good ~ especially with rum

| I can't drink it as I take medicine & it always made me sick when I did drink some, but I can add it to cooked food or put if over fruitcake and after time, it soaks all in & just adds so much to the flavor to even the driest fruitcake, when you add sugar, cherry juice, etc., to the alcohol mixture.

| Add vodka sauce to the list of foods I haven't tried! I swear I think I am allergic to vodka.
