We do "Thirsty Thursdays" most weeks at a local pub. One app. is $7.99 and 2 drinks are $9 (HH special $4.50 each for a pub runner). Add tip to that and it definately puts me over the $20 mark for just me.

Actually it's two drinks between the two of us, so one each, and usually just a beer.

I did find a place that has $2.50 half pints and 1/2 price plates (it's a tapas place) but they are all the way in Santa Monica, which is about a good 40 miles from us.

They also have wine at a discount. Not sure the price as I do not drink it. I will ask next time
