				   | With the holidays coming up, I need you to give me your best recipes. Every year I have to bring different things to my mom's dinner. I guess I am sick of the same thing. So, I would love to hear your best recipes. Dressing, potatoes, pies, etc. Anything would be appreciated!!!

				   | Sorry, most things I make come in a box and require microwaving....the oven if I'm being real fancy So for holidays & special occasions, I can predictably be counted on to bring something delectable I've ordered from my local family bakery, or a few bottles of bubbly. But maybe this will bump it up.

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Southern Living has my favorite cranberry salad, I've used the same recipe for years. I couldn't find the exact recipe on line, but this is close. My other recipe calls for oranges also in the mix, that's the big difference I see in the two recipes. Most everyone loves this salad, even people that don't normally care for cranberries. | I have a very easy and delicious and low(er) in fat recipe for garlic mashed potatoes. Every time I've made this, when I get invited back somewhere, they always ask me to make these again. This is for a smallish serving, about 4, but just double or whatever, it's easy. Keep in mind this is a no measuring recipe, so I'm guessing, adjust to your taste. 4-6 red potatoes, quartered with skin on 1/2 cup warmed milk (I use 1% but use a higher fat for more richness) 2 - 3 tablespoons chive cream cheese (use low fat if you want) 3 -4 whole cloves of garlic peeled (more if you want) sea salt (or garlic salt) and fresh ground pepper to taste Boil the potatoes and garlic in salted water until the skin starts to come off easily. Watch the pot to make sure it doesn't boil over. Drain and put potatoes in bowl or Kitchenaid. Mash the garlic with a fork and add to potatoes. Turn on Kitchenaid on low and add milk, cream cheese, salt and pepper until just combined. They come out chunky, that's how I like it, but if you like it more smooth, then turn it up more. That's it, very easy and yummy.

				   | The cranberry compote that Emeril makes is yummy. Or if you want a different dessert I make a yummy Lemon Lush. I gotta dig up the recipe....but it's simple and very easy and not too lemony. lol

				   | When I was stationed at Rota Spain the unit got everyone's favorite recipes. Here's a quick/easy one for spinach puffs. 2 packs frozen spinach nuked, 2 cups of stuffing/bread crumbs (seasoned/unseasoned no diff), 1 cup of grated parm (the shaker container type works fine). 3/4 of a cup of butter (stick and a half) nuked to soften. Combine everything. Roll into a "ball" to your liking. Smaller makes more. Bake at 350F for around 10 minutes. They will firm up as they cool, if they make it that long. Serve plain or with your favorite dipping. Any of the humus's work great.
