I don't like canned black olives. They are too mushy for me. I get mine from an olive bar or in a jar sometimes.

I was in a farm shop the other day with my mum, and there were about 30 different kinds of eyeballs on display

So we trundled along, helping ourselves to one of each and being very gourmet-ish, until a man in an apron came up to us and informed us that they weren't samples - and could we please stop tampering with the goods!!!!

I always sample from the olive bar before I buy them

There are a few varieties (black especially) that taste mushy to me even uncanned!
