| My manager ordered five kinds of apples to come in tomorrow. I guess we're going to have an apple party, lol.

| you can also do a peanut butter/cream cheese spread with vanilla and i believe powedered sugar in it. lemme look it up. The Pampered Chef, Ltd. just make this on top of the pancake instead of on a cookie crust |

| Sounds wonderful! How about buttermilk pancakes with fried cinnamon apples (apples sprinkled with cinnamon and sauteed in real butter) drizzled with hot carmel and a dab of whipped cream for good measure. |

| Oh my gosh, these ideas sound so delicious! You guys are going to get me promoted! JK, but it'll be interesting to see my manager's face when I say I heard all these ideas on a yorkie site.

| Let us know what you come up with and share the recipe if you are allowed to. I love the caramel apple pancake idea!

It was funny, I told my manager I had some ideas that I got from people who did my work for me. Of course I had my own, too, but he thought it was funny. As for recipe sharing I actually had to sign a disclaimer about keeping them & other things confidential! But if I'm the one adding the final tweak that'd make it mine.

| Ever since I first read this thread I've had the taste for carmel & apple. Today ZoE & I drove out to a local orchard/cider mill and I bought a freshly made carmel apple. It was delicious!!! .....as I was there....I also bought a dozen apple/cinnamon donuts and a half gallon of cider...so I'm blaming my weight gain this week on you, ok?

| I think if the caramel was a syrup (like maple syrup) I would go for it in a heartbeart! |

| Our Apple Harvest Fest around here does a really popular apple dish. They batter-coat and then fry apple wedges. Then they top w cinnamon and powdered sugar. I don't know if you could do something to adapt this to a restaurant, but it is very popular at the festival.
