Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Do you obsess about certain foods for a while? I don't know if it's just me, but it seems I'll want to eat a certain thing all the time, until I get it out of my system....and then I move on to another food. Not that I don't eat other stuff at the same time, but I *really* have to eat a lot of the food over which I'm dying. Here are some of the foods I've obsessed about the last year: Brussels sprouts (saute) Cabbage (saute) Cantaloupe (my current one) Apples Kashi GoLean (this is an ongoing one) Mushrooms (saute) These are by no means my favorite foods (which are sushi and Ethiopian food)...but I go thru wanting them as often as possible. Of course, if I could, I'd eat dessert all day long. My hubs is currently and totally obsessed by hard boiled eggs. Anyone else?

| Oh gosh, yes. My lifelong obsession is and will be pickles/pepper rings/pickled veggie mix. I think I went through an orange phase. I get like this a lot while I have a whole box of something here, then I can't get anymore or it would continue (latest was Fiber something or other fudge coconut caramel bars). I've been on a raspberry vinegarette kick for my veggies and salads for about a year (has to be a certain brand though). Actually, you should just ask my mommio what it is. She does the shoppping around here and always has to take notice about what I'm going through too quickly so she can restock (or go back to the store midweek). lol

| Yes!!! I've done it so much with brussel sprouts that I cannot even stand to eat them anymore. It wasn't until a year ago that I've ever tasted them and loved them until I overdid it. The only other food I think I've done this with is tilapia.

| Ohmygosh, I am exactly like that! I just go crazy over a certain taste or consistency of a food and cannot get enough of it for a while. Currently, it is kernal corn. I love corn on the cob but currently cannot get enough of just the plain old corn, cooked anyway you like it. I thought I was the only person that did this!!!

| I hope we are not the only ones like this on this whole forum. But I do eat very "trendy", and until I get my fill of my current trend, I do want lots of that one food. And it usually is one food I really crave all the time - except for pizza, which is my one constant crave. I am certain that heaven will have a hot pizza tree on every corner of every block!
