Sorry we missed you, although it sounds like you had some fun today. Bentley and Griffin had lots of fun meeting Yoda and Madeline. Bentley has a crush on Madeline even though she doesn't like him very much

We will have another meetup next month. Hopefully we will see you then!

I didn't take too many pictures, but here are a few. The first one is of Bentley sleeping in his car seat on the way to the play date. I though it was pretty funny

The second picture is Bentley and Yoda. The third is Madeline. The last picture is of Yoda making a new friend. Little Yoda is so cute with his spiked collar!

Yoda's little spiked collar is very intimidating.

I'm so glad that the day turned out well and that you all had fun.

Are you still brushing out all the sand and plant bits like me?

Oh, and I just replaced my Palm, so I'll be able to copy and past the date and time for the next meeting. Maybe I'll even crank up the alarm, too. Ha ha!

I think Bentley has a long road ahead of him if he is going to win her heart! She's playing hard to get and wants nothing to do with him

Hi There:

This is Shelli -- Madeline's mom. After I traumatized poor Madeline by bringing her to the Play Date, we got back to our own neighborhood to the park and she charged a Lab and one of those giant poodles !! Go figure! Hope she will get used to the dog park after a few more trips. Yes, Bentley has a long way to go to win her heart if she keeps the attitude she had today at the Play Date!

I am trying to put a pic of Madeline on here, and it keeps saying that the image is too big, too many pixels -- have tried all sorts of diff pics. What is the trick to getting it that small??

It's filesize that matters, try to resize it to under 200kb. Welcome to YorkieTalk, sounds like Madeline will have more fun at hte next meet! It was a lot of fun and it was neat to meet some Yorkie buddies!

aww I just checked my calender and it looks like I might not be able to attend, Princess wont be finished with all her shots by July 16th!! we were really looking foward to going!! I might just have to bring Rocky only.. is this play date every month?? I would really love to bring both of my babies.

Yes, the playdate is the third saturday of every month at 2pm. For the summer we are meeting at Magnuson Park. We will move indoors somewhere when Fall comes. To get more information and reminders of the play dates, join the meetup group at http://yorkie.meetup.com/258/

I would love to be able to attend the next play date...I am currently in AZ but will be in WA this summer visiting family with my 2 year old Yorkie, Darby. My Mom also has a 1 year old Yorkie and they are both very friendly and love meeting and greeting other dogs! If play dates are scheduled for teh 3rd Sat of each month I will try to plan for that, but will check back in for confirmation!
