Donating YT 14K Club Member | We've adopted a Pom His name is Valentino and this is his story... Valentino was used for a stud for several years. He turned 5 last month. He has spent most of his life in a small cage. An elderly man was getting rid of his stock since he was not able to make a fortune off of these dogs. A nice lady rescued 2 pomeranians. Valentino was one of them. When she got him, he had feces caked to him. He was a solid mat and had urine burns on his skin. The lady took two days to bathe him and shave/comb him out. He holds his head to the left and sometimes it looks as though he's about to tip over. She took him to the vet and found out that he has a neurological disorder. The vet said that there was nothing that could be done for him. She had him for 6 weeks...then I came along. As excited he was, he was a sad little dog. We paid a small fee for him and brought him home today. He gets along well with our crew. He weighs 6 lbs and isn't fixed so that's next on our agenda. I bathed him and only found 2 fleas on him. He's UTD on shots and the lady gave me everything she had on him...including his AKC papers. When he's sitting on the couch, he look straight on. When he's walking around, he hangs his head to the left. Sometimes he hangs it so low he looks like he's about to fall over. Sometimes, he walks around in a tight circle similar to those with head injuries. I do not know how long Valentino will be with us, but I thought that he deserved to live out the rest of his days loved and pampered. He's already taught himself to use the doggy door so he's pretty smart...even Dallas doesn't use it yet. Say a prayer for this little guy. He's absolutely sweet and well mannered.

| Awww he is so pretty! How wonderful that he can make his home with you! You are a wonderful person to do that for him. He sounds like a smartie learning to use the doggie door so fast.
