| ![]() Im curious about this as well. I took in some kittens that a friend of mine found in her garage and fostered them to find them homes. i dont normally like cats but kittens are too cute and i taught them so much in just a few days..unfortunately i have a pom and a yorkie and my yorkie acts like he wants to EAT the kitten.. ![]()

| ![]() I had Eloise, our cat, first, so she tolerates the dogs, but doesn't really play with them. The first Few months she hissed a lot, but she no longer does that. It's funny, the dogs adore her, get excited to see her, But she ( Eloise) thinks she is the queen bee and stays away from the dogs at all times. Maybe if you got a kitten it would interact/ be easier with your dog? In the past, when I had dogs that were older than the kitty they seemed to warm up to each other. good luck - I adore our cat, and maybe it is just her personality...? She is just a loner... In any case, I wish you luck in whatever you decide! Pets just add so much to our lives!!! You can't go wrong!! :-) |

| ![]() I think it really depends on the type of cat. I have a Maine Coon who is a female. They love each other. They are alwaus playing and napping at the same time. |
