| Golden Retrievers? Does anyone have a golden retriever? I am thinking about getting a puppy that I saw. I know that are great family dogs. Thanks.

| I have a golden retriever and he is the best, well mannered, loving, loyal dog I have ever had. He is GREAT with my little dogs, so careful not to hurt them. You wont be disappointed. |

| I have a Golden that will be having babies in July. She is wonderful. If you like big dogs, and can handle the puppy stage lasting two years then you will love a Golden Retriever. They do need a lot of exercise. But they are so very smart and great with the smaller dogs. Here's a picture of Lilly the Golden with Trixie. |

| I have a Golden I Grew up with them we had 6 growing up I have never known one not to be a really sweet family dog Amy our current is 4 years old we got her at 2years as a rescue. When we got her she was very UNtrained. But eager to learn. by the end of the week she knew sit, stay, down, look at meand many more comands. We had to work on her with my at the time 6 yr old. she wanted to hump her. LOL But with mw and my daughter she had that down in another week she is now a very well adjusted part of our house I jokenly call her the 93 pound Yorkie. She does great with them very sweet. here is a picture of her. |

| Our Golden is the BEST! She's 11 now, and is going blind, but she's such a sweetheart. One thing I will warn you about is that they are famous for bad hips as they age. Sunny's, my Golden, hips are really bad. Such wonderful family dogs. One time when I was quite a bit younger, I was walking Sunny on the road (not busy) and I happened to fall down and there was a car coming, Sunny stood over me until the car passed. She had no training or anything. VERY smart & loyal dogs!!!

My furkids Donating Member | I owned a Golden many years ago. I took her from a friend (when she was 1 yr) that was going into the Navy. She was never around children (I had a baby at the time) so I was a little nervous. She was the BEST dog I have ever owned! My daughter (now 28 and married) has 2...a male and female...they are the most loving dogs. Her female is still in puppy stage and thinks my girls are her size...so I don't let me around my daughters dogs in fear they will get stepped on. The only thing with Goldens is they shed... A LOT!
