| Meet Bruce's new tankmates!! aka the cleaning crew........ Well Bruce is very very messy! Its been impossible keeping his tank clean since he is about a foot long and all he does is eat and well, you know.... Right now his only other tankmates are 2 large plecos (the sucky type fishes) and they arent helping much with keeping this tank very clean so today I got 2 crabs. Meet Jacque and Nigel, the new full time cleaning crew for Bruce's tank.

| I love fish! What a chubby fish and cute little crabs! I've always wanted a salt-water aquarium (my parents had one when I was a kid) but they're SO much work! Jim and I haven't decided on it yet.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I have a Koi pond outside and bring the babies in in the winter to a 55 gallon tank. I love fish too! Although, I have to say I feel a little bad for those little guys hiding there under the rocks that are soon going to be dinner |

| I had the same issue with my tank. I got a crab to help keep it clean. Well lets just say I had more of an issue keeping the damn crab in the tank then i did keeping the tank clean. He would some how n i moved all the plants and rocks away he would get in the water filtration that sits at the back of the tank. whenever we couldnt find Mr Crabs (my son named him that) we pulled the fish tank out and opened up the water filter pulled out the filter and low n behold there was Mr. Crabs just sitting there.. | You know what's crazy? Bruce is a bit spoiled now and will only eat shrimp pellets that I handfeed him I just put those feeder fish type goldfish in yesterday and he wont touch them. The bad thing is they dont live very long so they typically die on thier own, I have one that died today and I dont know wether to leave it in ther in case Bruce changes his mind or if I should get it out immediately. But every time I walk in that room Bruce gets excited and goes to the top and waits for me to drop him som shrimp pellets. Thats my Brucey!

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | so cute!!!! Do watch the crabs though lol as stated above they are escape artists we used to have a fish tank with a few of them in it and man they would escape we would look in the tank and the were gone they actually made it down the tank and on the floor Via the tank cord we had many die this way and we couldn't figure out how they were getting out.
