| Proud parents-to-be! Yep! We will be adding another furbaby to our family. Hubby called me this morning and asked if I minded getting a female black lab (we had a chocolate male who passed away rather suddenly 2 years ago). He has been wanting another one but kept putting it off as he was really devastated by the loss of MD (the chocolate I just mentioned). A fellow firefighter's lab had puppies, they will be registered but "newbie" (she has no name yet) will be fixed when she becomes of age. The babies are a week old so we won't be getting her for at least 9-10 weeks. We hope to go see the litter and pick the one we want. When we do that, I'll take pics to share with you. In the mean time, we've got to get the dog house and pen area ready.....and think of a name. We have to see her first before naming can occur but for now, I'll call her "newbie"...LOL! So Rebecca, you aren't the only one to get a lab furbaby - I really thought it would be another year or so before we got one but opportunity presented itself and we are gonna get her. Too bad we live so far apart AND that we spay/neuter our furbabies - we could be grandparents....LOLOLOL!!!!!

| Congratulations. They are such a wonderful family dog. I think they have the most adorable loving face. They seem to smile. Carol & Buddy |
