Sorry about your guinea pig. I used to have two. One night I was about to go to the mall. I went over to say goodbye to them. I pet them and the male was dead. Well I was hysterical crying (I think I was in 9th or 10th grade). I said to my mom (I deny it to this day, but she says I said it) that we have to get an autopsy done on him so I know why he died so I could make sure that the other guinea pig didn't die. I don't remember saying it!

Oh Megan, so sorry for your loss. All of God's creatures, big and small, have the ability to mean so much to each of us right when we need it. I am sure that Noelle brought you much joy. Know that you gave her everything that she could have wanted while she was here with you. What more could a hamster, dog, cat, etc., wish for. Don't feel bad about having a heart that can hold so much love and concern for so many! Take care.

I am so sorry! My Russian white is very affectionate. I have had her for 2.5 years and know their lifespan is about that long. I check on her everyday because I am terrified of losing her.

I'm doing alright. It's pretty weird not having her here in her cage. I always have at least 1 hamster......so it's strange to not hear the wheel going or something.

I'm hoping that I can talk my parents into letting me have another hamster. My room is just so different without one.
