| My Bubbles has gone to fishy heaven today. I am rather heartbroken and blame myself because after buying another testing kit I realized the one I had been using must have been bad because their water was so off And of course since it was just Bubbles and Squirt together Squirt is taking it hard... He was pushing Bubbles around the tank trying to get him to swim again I feel stupid talking about this anywhere else because people just say.. Oh he is just a fish.

| Old picture but that was my Bubbles on the top, Squirt is the middle one and last was my Spooky I lost a couple years back.. She was not full Koi so she had a shorter life span.

| A better picture of Bubbles when he was smaller, I think he was about a foot long when this picture was taken.

| Sorry about Bubbles. I, too, have koi and they have names. Our pets are our friends just the same as dogs and cats.

| I am sorry that you lost your Bubbles. I haven't had fish for years but I remember one fish in particular that I lost and was so sad about. It was a Siamese Fighting Fish and he would follow my finger around the bowl he was in. He meant a lot to me as I had him the longest. So I understand that he was not just a fish. Your tattoe's are really good of him and the other two fish and the picture of him was nice too. Thanks for sharing with us.

| Thank you everybody.. It's hard to explain to people that do not consider their pets family how much it hurts losing one. Koi are known to live 75 to 100 years so I already had them in my will and everything in case something should happen to me but yet now he is gone and I know it is all my fault. He was such a smart "little" guy (he weighed more than Stella) he knew tricks and all plus would answer to his name.
