				   | What great news for Shelby- Dale! No more worries for you Terri except for that ramen diet. Don't over work yourself now or I may start worrying about you! |

				   | First of all, I would really like to thank Lynzy for posting that link about the Pedigree. I seriously had no idea and never even thought of problems other than grain/gluten. They changed their formula several months ago. Interesting and maddening! Quote:

![]() Thank you again, everyone. I told hubby last night - "I know my boy better than anyone. Why won't you all listen to me?" He's soooo much himself again. AND, a lot less licking and itching. Woot!!!

				   | Hi Just read the thread... glad it has a happy ending!! I wanted to add (just as an afterthought) when Sammy liked his privates and had a scab it was because of an infection-- I think bladder or kidneys. I am guessing the med you gave would have delt with that. I know your boy is a bit bigger.. but $60.00 per week does sound high. I think a $35.00 ish feeds all 4 (yes 4--one grand dog and 2 are yorkies but the other 2 are in the 20 lb range) ..oh- I forgot the science hill k9.. that is about $30.00 too... so $60.00 a month for the kibble and of course the coast of food to cook... so I spend about $130.00 ish for 4 dogs I agree, if I was you I would add green beans, other veggies. I wonder if you could even add a little rice to give calories? (just asking)

				   | Glad to hear he's back to his old self! When Luma was on CC I ordered from mrchewy.com. Its now just chewy.com. They really are good. Very fast shipping. Free shipping if its over $50. You can get a discount if you set up the auto-delivery method too.

				   | Thanks, y'all! Can you believe that I think he got stung by a bee last night? LOL! It's never ending with this boy. I saw him react like something got him but he didn't cry or run. Then he kept licking that one spot on his upper arm. So, I shaved his hair off there to see if I saw anything. I didn't. I washed it gingerly, sprayed it with my Hot Spot/soothing spray that cost an arm and a leg and stuck a tshirt on him to keep him from licking. We'll see what I come home to tonight....

				   | Happy to hear is he doing well. ![]() Pedigree probably did not cause the upset stomach because he has been eating it for so long, but a food change can help a GI pup. BB is not the only option. IMO, it is a lot of money for this particular company. Just a thought about feeding large dogs. My sister and BIL feed BB and hate spending money. lol. So they made a deal with a PetSmart manager to get it discounted if they buy x amount at once.

				   | Glad he is doing better and back to his old self again. I understand your pain with the $. When I had my 100# lab, he ate 'Ol Roy from Walmart Thank goodness he never had any issues and lived to 13. I feed BB to Huey but an 8lb bag lasts a couple of months

				   | He is 100% himself now. Thank you all for your help and your support and tips. I love my babies! He is a Mama's boy so it's nice for this Mama to have her boy back to himself.

				   | Just wanted to post a quick update cocerning the $60 bag of grain free BB that I got Shelby. It might cost a lot, but a big biggg bag of his old food was lucky to last a solid 2 weeks. Tomorrow will mark 4 weeks since I bought this food and it still probably has 2 more days worth of meaks left. He doesn't eat as much so it lasts longer. And trust me...he has a healthy appetite again so I know he's needing less due to no fillers...more nutrition.
