| Well, I am just at a loss. He's throwing up again. He did it the other day and I blamed it on him not eating all day and then gobbling it up fast. But he just threw up that slimy liquid stuff again. He hasn't eaten all day. But what I discovered is that he threw up an entire dinner in the corner of the room I rarely walk to. I found it this time in the dark and stepping in it. So now I feel like the same root problem is still around but we don't know what it is. Back to square one and the vet I guess. I've been crying for the last 30 mins because I don't know what's wrong with my boy

| YT 2000 Club Member | Yes take him vet. He could have some kind of stomach bug. My Spud had that. The will see if he has a fever and probably put him on a bland diet. I will pray that your sweet Yorkie will get better soon. |

| Ok, well his blood panel was right down the middle on everything. We decided to do an xray to ensure his insides are ok. But, I am covinced now more than ever that it is the Trifexis. I forgot all about the switching to Trifexis at the same time we moved into this house. Stupid Interceptor...I miss it!! Anyway, I won't get into a lot because I don't have proof of anything. I will just say that a lot of unrelated symptoms, the timeline, the physical fights to give him the Trifexis, and recent reading of a lot of problems with Trifexis (and one very disturbing Youtube video) have made my Mama Instinct say that Trifexis is NOT right for him. I won't slander with no proof and say it is poisoning him, but I will say that it is how I feel. He is switching to Interceptor's cousin, Sentinel. We'll see if anything changes down the road. If not, all I did was save a ton of money and hopefully the fights to get him to take his meds. And I will continue to look for another answer. If he does start to gradually get better from all the unrealted (seemingly) symptoms, then I'll have the proof I need for myself.

| Hoping Shelby is doing better today!!! If it is the meds his symptoms should subside..right? Some of this stuff just scares me to death.

| Any updates on your sweetie? I lost my sweet Promise last week to kidney failure and I am convinced that it was because of the Trifexis. She was throwing up at least every other day, had the same blood panels done that were halfway, but after a week, they were off the charts. Kidney disease is so fast in coming, and there is almost no complete recovery. Please let me know how things are going. |

![]() As of right now, Shelby-Dale's new vet has put him on antibiotics (today marks the 14 days) for a few weeks. These are for a bad fungal infection he had on his tummy. As for the throwing up issues, she is convinced that he has acid reflux and has put him on pepcid ac and some powdered probiotics. She didn't feel that the Trifexis was the issue and I'm still on alert and on the fence about it. She said go give the meds 2 weeks and if he is still having issues, to bring him back. He has acted a LOT better lately. However, he threw up on Saturday when we had run out of Pepcid AC so I figured that was why. But, he threw up again on Monday. He had all his meds that day. Again, today is day 14. If he throws up again, I'll be going back to do more xrays and an ultrasound. So, basically, I thought he was better but now I'm still not so sure. He isn't on Trifexis anymore, but if it did cause damage...that damage is most likely still there messing with him. His energy is definitely back to normal though and his other issues (leg and tummy/fungus issues) are better. His poop is and always has been fine. I just want him not to throw up. It has to be miserable for him. I will post back here if/when I find out more. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for your healing.
