| Memorial for Max Our youngest son lost his childhood buddy Max a little over a week ago. Brandon is 27 and Max the cat was his constant companion for 15 years. He picked out his burial site and I told him I would order a memorial stone. Instead of ordering one, I found this perfect slate slab on our property. Brandon wanted to do the carving himself as a tribute to his buddy. It has really helped him deal with his grief. I wanted to share a picture of how it turned out. | A beautiful memorial to his pal Max. Much more meaningful than anything you could have bought.

| Oh that made me cry. Poor Brandon, losing his longtime buddy who was with him all through growing up. That's got to be hard for a young man to deal with, at any age. Max would be proud of that memorial.

| Brandon did a great job on the memorial. I know this has been hard on him.

| Thank you all so much. Our house seems so quiet without Max running through the house and keeping Jada and Bogie on their toes. Max was a special kitty and had the best personality. I think that Brandon making this memorial stone for Max has really helped him and I am so proud of how he took care of Max. His last few days he had to hand feed and carry him to his litter box and then clean him. It broke my heart and also made me very proud that he loved him so much. He was a good daddy to Max.
