Morgan I am so sorry that the time has come for you to let Coco go. What you are having to do is so hard, as I know we just went through it with our son's 17 year old cat. It is the ultimate gift of love, but it is also the hardest thing as a pet owner that we all face at some point in time. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. |
Morgan; my most heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. You have made the hardest decision that any pet owner must. Coco has been well loved by you and your family. ((((((Hugs)))))) |
Sending (((HUGGZZ))), thinking of you and your family Morgan. You are all in my prayers. |
I too am facing the same thing. In addition to our 3 Yorkies, we have a 14 yr. old Blue Heeler. Our Red Heeler passed away Dec. 28th of 2011. Since that day, we have been Pepper's constant companion. Some days she can barely get outside, so we help her with a log carrier. It's like a sling around her mid section. With my husband and I being senior citizens, it's very hard to lift her. Everything that Coco is going through, we too are experiencing. I can only pray that Pepper's last days will be ones of comfort and peace. I've had to make the decision before, and it's something I wouldn't wish on anybody. You will know when it's time. In our home, we don't think it's time yet. |

Morgan....what can I say? You gave your darling Coco THE very best life ever and you're making the ultimate decision for HER, being totally self-less, because it's what's best for her. My heart is bleeding and totally breaking for you, I'm so sorry and you're ALL in my constant thoughts and prayers. Keep strong my friend. Sally x |

Morgan, I understand how you feel. We went through the same heartbreaking decision last year with our beloved 15 year old Boo the Boxer. She was truly a member of our family -- in fact I consider her our middle son's sister :). Although you have so much grief in your heart, try to be strong for the next few days, for Coco's sake. Coco is still with you and she can sense your emotions, try to make her last few days happy ones. Spend as much time as you can with her, just loving her. Sending healing prayers and hugs for your family and friends during this very difficult time. |

Today is the day that we are letting our sweet girl Rest in peace and ending her suffering. I got a call yesterday from a different vet at the same practice to give us the results of her urine sample last week. She has a bacterial infection and the vet mentioned it could be a sign of something worse like bladder cancer since we have not been able to clear up the issues for the past 4 months with antibiotics. That gave me a little more comfort knowing we are doing the right thing for her. Please keep my family in your prayers tonight will be so hard for us. Thank you all. |
Oh Morgan, I've been thinking about you all, all day. You ARE doing the right thing....I know it feels like we're playing God, but it's truly in dear Coco's best interest. Will be thinking of you, and you'll all be in my prayers tonight. Stay strong. Sally x |

Just now reading this. I'm so sorry it has come time to say goodbye. Sweet Coco had all a dog could ask for - a wonderful home with other dogs to play with, loving owners and great care all her life. She had it all! She can go to her reward in the arms of those who love her as one of the supremely blessed ones. All dogs should have it so good. Morgan, you have given her your all and now you are sending her on her way with love, peace and kindness, caring to the last. Well done. I hope your heart is at peace even though it is broken. Tibbe and I send you {{e-hugs}}. |
