Wow.... I had a german shepard for about 11 years. He passed away. I had a poodle for 8 years.
Cocker names Sonya for 15 years.
Collie (kaytlyns grandmother) 12 years
Maddie (kaytlyns mom) 9 years
and my baby girl now..Kaytlyn who is 2

We've had/have several cats (have two 12 lbers, Jizzy & Luigi).
Have owned one dog before Lola...because of the care...we didn't have the time..so my list is very small:

1) Paco, 10 yrs ---Chihuahua
2) Lola, 5 mos --- Yorkshire Terrier Princess

Let's see if I can remember (the dogs will be easy as I was a cat lover - did I say that??..LOL - before I met hubby).

1 Bloodhound named Blue
1 Chihuahua named Lady
1 Chocolate Lab named MD (plays in heaven now)
3 Yorkies - Katie, my first baby (rest in peace my angel)
Gabby, a.k.a. Miss Piggy
Gage, a total heart stealer!

Now for cats, I had a total of 13! Hubby is allergic to cats and being a total animal lover, we settled on dogs - Katie was our "first" baby, Gabby followed along with MD and then Gage.

1 toy poodle (died at 16yrs)
1 German Shep/Irish Wolfhound mix (died 15yrs)
1 Golden Retriever (still going strong at 13)
1 Jack Russell Terrier (still going strong at 10)
1 German Shepherd (5 years old)

I have loved them all and they've all been great dogs, but I don't think I'd do a Jack Russell again.

Eskimo Spitz (Eagle)-was supposed to be my dog to grow up w/...was poisoned on Halloween and died before I was 1
Mutt-(dauchsaund/poodle, Rocky)-got him when I was 3, died when I was 16--that one irreplacable dog
Cocker Spaniel (Candy)-she was mean, she bit me and my parents gave her to my uncle and told me she ran away
Dauchsaund (Cocoa)-died at less than one year from ruptured hernia when I was about 10
Peke-a-Poo (Obie, more poo than peke)-inherited him for one year when my parents were separated when I was 12, then they gave him away...don't know why?
Pekingnese (Chachi, Renee, Gizmo)-me & my sis got them in 1992, Chachi died in 1997 from a ruptured hernia, Gizmo just showed up one day, he was 'put out' and crazy...he'd been beat and had multiple ruptured disks in his back, chewed off his own tail and had to be put down at 3 yrs old, we had to have Renee put down last November blindness/no teeth/kidney failure...pretty much age still kills me, both of them
Mutt (chow/rotweiler/beagle, Dakota)-he was a pup of my husband's old dog, he lives w/ my grandparents now and is my gdad's best friend
Bassett Hound (Flash)-my daughter's dog & best friend, Trixie's playpal
Yorkie (Trixie)-this one goes w/out saying

Mostly cool mutts while growing up. There were puppies dropped off at our house all the time because there were 6 kids and we all loved dogs.

As adult:

Yorkies-5 (hated first one, sold her (long story), 1 died as puppy, 2 cherished friends, Jasper and Angel, and now Wosie)

I will never be without a yorkie in my life again.

Border Terrier - Dylan (lived 12 years - the best dog EVER)
English Bulldog - Bono (still living - with his breeder -- long story)

As an adult on my own:
Yorkie/Jack Russell - Biddy
Yorkie - Tucker
Soon to be Yorkie - Soon to be named

Indirectly:
My parents just got a Border Terrier puppy Emmett - 10 weeks (I don't live with him, but I guess he's my brother )

As a kid with my family:

3 poodles: Bam Bam, and his mom. I was too young to remember. Then we got Princess. She ran away and was never found.

1 Doberman: Lucky, only 2 to 3 weeks, my mom decided to return him to the breeder.

1 Cockel Spaniel: She died, she was only a couple of months.

1 Pomeranian: Punky.


Now:

1 yorkie: Gucci

son had several mutts who ran away
exhusband and son shared an old english sheepdog for 10 years
1 mini-chiuahah (rescued, and returned for Permanent home)
several cats--significant: Mittens who was with us for 10 years died of liver failure
1 australian shepherd (given to friends who had a yard)
2 Lhaso Apsos: had for about 6 years; one died suddenly and the other died from missing his playmate six months later.

Now:

Bichon, 24# "Ranger", is 9 yo but he has awful skin and ear problems.
Bailey, 16 mo. old Havanes, the love of my life dogwise
Dayzee Mae, 5 mo old Yorkie who is Daddy's girl.

I am happy.

Shepard - Cindy first dog I can remember
Poodles - raised with them; my mother bred the "teacups" (had to say it!)
Boxers - raised with them; mother bred them too - loved the breed - Janie was my favorite and my protector as a child
Doxie - family dog - my brother as kids fed it chile and had it chase us or hide it in our rooms. "Blitz will never be forgotten"
Irish Setter - had one for less than a month, broke through the fence never to be found again!
Maltese 2....2 litters rehomed Milly/Mandy - Max (my first) passed @ 15yo Cats - 2 persian one passed, one rehomed - 2 tabby both passed
Yorkies 10 - (1) passed, can't life without them!
