| My favorites are Great Danes, St Bernards & Dalmations. We had a small Great Dane(about 70lbs) growing up & she was a awesome dog. We have enough yard for a large dog, but our house is way too small. Desiree |

| I may be adopting a 4 year Yorkie as my new 'Dog Partners in Therapy' Dog. She is on a test run with me now - we are on day 2 I currently am owned by: Great Dane - Kimba Alaskan Malamute - Willow Hound Mix - Shiloh Yorkie (potential adoptee) - Ivie So I would have to say my favorite big dogs are: Great Danes & Malamutes. | o this is a great thread...i love all dogs so its so hard to pick a favorite- but i would have to say my top picks are: great danes, bull mastiffs, german shepards, boxers and st bernards. i love the big dogs, but minus the drool!!

| Samoyed I love the Samoyed. I have one that was the littlest thing that I have seen and now his is a BIG BOY @ 75 pounds. Will be 2 years old on x-mass. Here are some pics of the baby.

| My favorite large breed BY FAR is Labradors. I prefer black to the other colors, but throw any Lab my way and I will give them a big squeeze My sister Midnite - 14-years-old in this pic. She's probably part Shepherd. We got her from the Humane Society @ 5 mos:

| I have a couple of favorite larg breeds..Great Danes (the Harliquins(sp)), curly coated retrivers, portugese water dog, giant schnazure, and standard poodle.

| My faves are Pits preferably brendle. I was raised with them and you couldn'task for a better dog when bred and raised properly like all dogs. My parents still own them and a few years ago for a visit my son then not even a year old was crawling all over them and playing with them. I also like the english bulldogs but whats not to like the are just so stinking cute with all them wrinkles. |
