No Longer a Member | Kitty Teeth Care For those of you with the cute little kitty cats...how do you keep their chompers clean? In theory it should be simple, do what I do with Rizzo, brush daily and spray some Petzlife a couple times a week. Only Rizzo doesn't fight the way Fatso does. Rizz has pretty much accepted that he has to get his teeth brushed every day after his topknot gets re-done. I've tried brushing my cats teeth, and that resulted in a few scratches when he grabbed a hold of my arms. I try the spray, and same results, pain and blood on my end and the worst evil stare for 2 hours. He runs into his crate as soon as he hears me shaking the bottle so there is no sneaking up on him either. My vet told me when I get to MD to take him in for a full dental. He's 6 years old and his teeth aren't in great shape, not terrible, but they need to be cleaned. So...what do you kitty parents do to keep their teeth as healthy as your yorkie teeth? |
