Which would you get? If you had all the yorkies you wanted and wanted a different breed which would you get? |
I would love to have a Maltese or a Havanese some day. |
Doberman,Boxer,or Boston Terrier. |
As an addition to the Yorkies, a chihuahua. Without the Yorkies, an airedale. :) |
I'm starting to fall for he cane corso. But I'd only get one if I grew another foot, and became a body builder. I can barely handle a 7 lb yorkie on a lead as it is. :p A girl can dream right? If not a cane corso, I would really like a biewer. |
It would have to be another type of terrier, I love the terrier spunk. Perhaps a JRT, Cairn, Norwich, or Norfolk. |
I've always had a thing for corgis, I like their little legs and they are so loyal and loveable. :) |
I plan for my next dog to be a Biewer- is that cheating? too close to a Yorkie? I love the look of maltese and what I read about them, but I have never actually met a decent full breed maltese- only mixes or pet shop puppies- so I would need to meet some before I made a decision. I grew up with toy poodles and my family still owns them- if one fell in my lap I would take it in- I know the breed well- but I wouldn't actively seek one. However, my next addition will for sure be a kitty- I have been too long without one and I miss having an aloof little brat to share my house with. |
I think I would go totally different and get a large dog - probably a german shepherd or a labrador. Not sure if I would want want to protect me or one to smoosh with??? |
None. I am just a Yorkie person and would love to see several Yorkies running around in my home and yard. I've a one-track Yorkie mind. |
I love my pom and long hair chihuahuas. I think hubby and I will stick to the chis. I can not get a big dog, due to my health, but if I could it would be a golden retriever I think. I am done with the really long hair dogs. |
I'll only have Yorkies in my life time. ;) |
Sense I haven't ever owned a yorkie (no glaring at me). My breed of choise has always been toy poodles. However over the years I have met several yorkies that I thought were sweet & wonderful dogs,so yorkie for me. I am still a mommy in waiting, with empty open arms. |

Hmmm... I guess my #1 would be a Biewer after Yorkie of course, then maybe Chi or Chinese Crested (Powder-Puff) in the small dog category In big dog category...Dalmatian, Airdale Terrier, or Labrador. In a perfect world where breed bans didn't exist a American Pit Bull Terrier would be on my list (if I didn't have a small dog) |
