| What do you feed your cat? My sister has a cat and is looking for a premium food. She currently feeds Royal Canin. I don't have a cat and we don't know anyone else with one to ask for a food recommendation. Thanks. |

| I tried raw with my cat, but for some odd reason all he wanted to eat was the organs and that wasn't going to work. I now feed him a mixture of high quality canned and orijen kibble. The important thing to remember with cats is that they are obligate carnivores- they need meat to survive and do not need any type of grain, fruits or veggies. I've been told the best you can do is raw, then wet canned, and then kibble for cats. I would suggest that you tell her basically what is said on here for dogs- the same brands that recommended for dogs normally make a cat food as well. |
